About me…

Thank you for visiting! My name is Charlie Crespo, I’m a 28 year old Bolivian-American illustrator based in Los Angeles. I’ve graduated from California State University, Long Beach’s Illustration - Animation track in 2023 having completed a short film (The Little Ghost) and an animatic (Transformation Time!).

I’ve loved creating comics ever since I was a little kid, growing up with influences like Dav Pilkey, Art Spiegelman, Akira Toriyama, and Craig McCracken. As an adult, I’ve gravitated towards a variety of genres like romantic comedies, horror, and satire. Being a nonbinary child of first-gen immigrants, I’ve always been interested in creating stories that capture different identities and perspectives, especially in how different identities fit within social structures and pop culture.

In my spare time, I love cooking and trying out new recipes, exploring different restaurants in the beautiful city of Los Angeles, and playing piano.
